Pathways Computer Club

The Pathways Centre and the Computer Club

The Pathways Centre at Hinckley Baptist Church opened its doors for the first time in April 2008. It is where the community work at HBC takes place. Several groups, both internal and external, use the premisies every day of the week. The Computer Club is an “In- House” group and the leader, Johnnie Lamsdon is a Church Member.

About the Computer Club

The Pathways Computer Club is part of the community work of the Pathways Centre at Hinckley Baptist Church. We started back in 2009 with five computers and 15 students, today we have around fifty students, most of whom now bring their own laptops. However some students still prefer to use the Pathways computers and some bring tablets. Our lessons last for one hour and every student is allocated a specific time on a Thursday morning, no lesson has more than 8 students and we try to offer an almost one to one teaching experience.
